Please join us in the first of a series of webinars to discuss various sustainability topics that affect the healthcare industry.  These webinars will be presented by Crystal Egelkamp and DeLynne Southern from the Colorado Energy Office (CEO).  The CEO is responsible for managing the State’s Benchmarking and Building Performance Standards program, referred to as Building Performance Colorado (BPC). The CEO has released a Draft Technical Resource Guide that is intended to help building owners and industry professionals understand the State of Colorado’s new building performance requirements. This webinar will provide an introduction to the BPS program, including discussion of the following main topics:

  1. Review of the State’s goals for carbon emissions reduction, based on recent legislation.
  2. Benchmarking requirements
  3. Energy and greenhouse gas emission reduction targets
  4. Timeline for compliance
  5. Renewable energy considerations
  6. Penalties and enforcement
  7. CEO's financing and grant opportunities for healthcare facilities


This webinar provides the first opportunity to begin communication with the State on the requirements of this program.  CEO will be prepared to answer any questions related to the program. They will solicit feedback from the audience on topics for future webinars.
