Please join us for the next session in a series of webinars to discuss sustainability topics that affect the healthcare industry. The State of Colorado requires all facilities over 50,000 SF to meet energy use intensity and GHG emission reduction targets by 2030. Our webinar series explores various technical approaches that hospitals can take to save energy and GHG emissions. This month’s session will discuss strategies around renewable energy systems.

The presenters will discuss how renewable energy systems can be incorporated into healthcare facilities to reduce overall emissions. We will discuss the following learning objectives:

  1. Explore why healthcare facilities should consider deploying renewable energy systems.
  2. Understand different applications of renewable energy systems, including on-site and off-site systems.
  3. Discover the typical challenges of interconnecting renewable energy systems to existing electrical systems.
  4. Discuss the typical financial approaches for procuring renewable energy systems, including incorporating tax credits to make implementation more affordable, even for tax exempt organizations.
  5. Investigate the feasibility of implementing renewable energy systems on a facility type through a case study example.

This is free for members and $50 for non-members.
