Join your CAHED colleagues for the 1st Annual Spike Hike on Friday, April 9th at the Alderfer/Three Sisters Park in Evergreen, CO. 
This FREE event to both members and non-members offers a chance to get some fresh air, hike with old and new friends, and enjoy fantastic 360 degree views at the top of the Brother’s Lookout.  Bring your gear (spikes, sun/weather protection, poles (if desired), or possibly snowshoes if there is a recent heavy snow); spikes can be purchased on Amazon or a local outdoor retailer.  Jefferson County COVID precautions/regulations are in effect.
Day of Event:
Please meet at the West Trailhead parking lot (5136 South Le Masters Rd) no later than 1:45 p.m.; the group will be leaving for the Brother and Sisters Loop hike at 2:00 p.m.  Restrooms available at the trailhead.  See the map for more information on this 3.1 mile moderate hike that has a beautiful combination of meadows, mountains and views. Free parking at the trailhead, with real-time space availability info at Lot Spot.  Please RSVP by Wednesday, April 7th.  Inclement weather date will be Friday, April 16th.  We expect to be done with the hike around 4:30 p.m.
