You're invited to join CAHED members and industry peers on Thursday, August 1 for a unique networking experience above the Eisenhower Tunnel.
Whether you're in healthcare planning, design, engineering, or construction, this hike is a chance to build meaningful connections outside the conference room—and take in some of Colorado’s best scenery.
Hike Details:
Trail: Golden Bear Summit (13,005’)
Distance: 6.5 miles round trip
Elevation Gain: 1,870 ft
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate | Class 1/2 | Family-friendly
Trailhead: West side of the Eisenhower Tunnel (I-70)
Schedule – Thursday, August 1:
Meet at Trailhead: 8:00 AM
Hike Begins: 8:30 AM approximately
Directions to Trailhead:
From the Front Range (East): Drive west on I-70 through the Eisenhower Tunnel. Stay in the right lane. Just after exiting the tunnel, take the immediate right-hand exit. Park near the road that goes up behind a building—this is your trail start.
From the West: Exit I-70 just before entering the tunnel. Follow the road around and above the tunnel entrance to reach the same parking area on the north side.
What to Bring:
Water, snacks, sunscreen, and layers
